Delays and Delivery Disruptions in Central Oslo Due to the Funeral of King Harald V

From 18:00 on 8 September, preparations for the funeral will affect accessibility in the area. Deliveries scheduled within the affected zones should therefore be completed before this time.

On the day of the funeral, parts of central Oslo will be closed to traffic from 06:00 to 21:00. It will not be possible to carry out deliveries within the restricted areas during this period. Surrounding areas may also experience delays due to detours, traffic management measures, and increased pressure on the road network.

In addition, delays should be expected on transport routes between Oslo Airport Gardermoen and central Oslo. Increased traffic related to the arrival and departure of guests, delegations, and other funeral-related events may impact accessibility and result in longer transportation and delivery times.

We recommend that customers with delivery requirements in central Oslo plan shipments either before or after the restriction period whenever possible.
